Scotland’s Towns Conference 2022

Scotland’s Towns Conference 2022 returned to an in person event on 16th November at CentreStage in Kilmarnock.

The annual flagship gathering of place stakeholders from across Scotland’s sectors, brought people together to be inspired and re-energised by fresh thinking, pilots, supports, funding, and resources for place.

As well as the series of talks and discussions on topics such as Climate and Net Zero, Creative Towns, Enterprising Communities, and Town Centre Living, the event was rounded off with the Scotland Loves Local Awards - celebrating high street heroes and businesses who are changing the towns and communities around them.

Delegates were also addressed by Tom Arthur MSP, Minister for Public Finance, Planning and Community Wealth, who opened the conference.

A video round up of the day can be viewed here.
